Brave News #11
Brave News, the weekly show that keeps fans worldwide updated on the fastest-rising promotion in MMA, goes online this week with amazing news coming from Algeria. Elias Boudegzdame, Brave’s first ever world champion, has been honoured by the Ministry of Sports for his title-winning performance against Masio Fullen at Brave 4: Unstoppable. Mr. El Hadi Ould Ali, Algeria’s Minister of Sports, has declared that Boudegzdame’s win is a matter of national achievement and has presented “Smile” with the the Algerian national jersey, embedded with the emblems of the country.
Meanwhile, Brave fighter Ahmed Amir has spent the week training at the world-class MMA facilities in KHK MMA at the Kingdom of Bahrain. While there, Amir has taken in some tips from Brave Lightweight contender Eldar Eldarov, who’s also a wrestling coach. Ahmed also expressed a wish to relocate permanently to the Kingdom of Bahrain so he could focus solely on his mixed martial arts career.
Alejandro “Pato” Martínez and Kareem Abdul Al-Selwady have been trading verbal jabs over social media for the last few months. But since a bout between the two of them has yet to become official, Brazil’s Fighter of the Year, Luan “Miau” Santiago has joined the conversation, claiming both of them have to go to the end of the line because he’s the number one contender for Brave’s Lightweight title, when the promotion decides to implement it.
Last but not least, Brave Combat Federation CEO Mohammed “The Hawk” Shahid has come back to the drawing board as he was spotted training at KHK MMA. A mixed martial artist with four professional wins (three of them by KO or TKO), Shahid has taken time from his busy schedule to come back to training drills. Is “The Hawk” planning a comeback to the cage? Only time will tell.
