Brave Combat Federation event one announced
BRAVE Combat Federation is set to make its premier event where an outstanding welterweight bout pitting Mohammed Fakhreddine (8-1) against Thiago “ Monstro” Vieira will serve as the main event of “ BRAVE ONE “ FAKHREDDINE VS VIERA which takes place on September 23 at the Khalifa Sports City, Isa Town Bahrain. BRAVE ONE, led by CEO Mohammed Shahid, will be aired live and free of charge on Bravefights.com. Additional fights on Brave’s first card will be announced in the coming weeks, and tickets can be purchased at Bravefights.com or at the Khalifa Sports City.
Hailing from Lebanon, Fakhreddine (8-1) will enter the cage for the 10th time and will be making his fifth appearance on a show’s main event. He is one of the biggest stars in middle-eastern MMA, with his all-out brawling style, and he never fails to entertain fight fans. A nine-fight veteran of Desert Force, Fakhreddine plans to expand his current four-fight winning streak as he makes his debut under Bahrain’s Brave Combat Federation banner.
Sao Paolo’s “Monstro” Thiago Viera brings an intimidating record to Bahrain having won seven of his eight fights via knockout or technical knockout, the other victory coming by way of submission. In his last fight he submitted his opponent in 19 seconds and will be looking to bring his momentum to into Khalifa Sports City against the Arab MMA hero – Fakhreddine. Vieria is a strong, imposing Welterweight at 6,2 known for throwing punishing leg kicks and liver kicks to set up his attacks.
Both fighters are renowned for standing toe-to-toe and trading with their opponents and they are both very good at it, with Vieria boasting a perfect record and Fakhreddine’s sole career defeat coming by way of submission.
The bout promises to be a spectacular main event in Brave’s premier fight show, under the patronage of The Shaikh Khalid Bin Hammad Al Khalifa. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements regarding the fight card. Fighters will be selected from various countries and regions.
