2015 Amateur World Champion Returns to Bahrain

KHK MMA’s Frans Mlambo (2-1) will compete next month on the inaugural Brave Combat Federation show in Khalifa Sports City, Isa Town, Bahrain in a mouth-watering fight against Filipino Stephan Loman (6-2).

Brave 1 is beginning to take shape and the addition of “The Black Mamba” vs “The Sniper” means we are likely to see yet more fireworks on this great night.

Mlambo has a lot of hype surrounding him due to his outstanding amateur pedigree and his affiliations with top teams. The KHK MMA Bantamweight has fought three professional fights since winning the 2015 IMMAF World Championships, and has secured two first round TKO’s with his sole defeat coming in China against hot prospect Changxin Fu.

Mlambo bounced back from this tough defeat in his last fight, against undefeated Englishman Luke Ord. He used superior technique and footwork to land crisp, hard, accurate combinations, which forced Ord to grab his legs and was immediately mounted, and pounded out as a result.

” The Black Mamba ” will be fighting a much more experienced opponent in Loman.

The Filipino is an aggressive grappler with a complete arsenal of MMA skills. At his best he will get in close, landing punches with the intention of taking you down and submitting you. He has excellent submissions and Mlambo shouldn’t sleep on his hands, which are capable of putting people to sleep.

The keys to victory in this clash will be Mlambo’s ability to keep the fight standing and for Loman, it will be to get in close, utilize his grappling and limit the beautiful boxing skills and technique of Mlambo, which he showed in his last fight. Loman is a talented fighter training out of Team Lakay in the Philippines, an up-and-coming MMA gym and with both fighters coming off a win, this promises to be an electric contest.
