Bahraini Golden Boy Kooheji Returns At Brave 2 “Dynasty”
Brave 2: Dynasty sees the returning of Bahraini Golden Boy Hamza Kooheji, looking to make another giant stride in his MMA career.
The event will take place on December the 2nd at Khalifa Sports City. It will be headlined by the first ever Brave title fight pitting Alan Omer Vs Masio Fullen in a featherweight matchup.
Kooheji had a blistering start to his career, winning four out of his first five professional bouts and most impressively, when the pressure was on at Brave 1: The Beginning, he delivered his finest performance and showed the confidence he possesses. His career up until that moment had looked promising, but he’d just suffered his first defeat and the weight of expectation was on his shoulders, in front of all his friends and family in the stands.
This acted as a big motivator for Kooheji who dominated his opponent from the opening bell and was able to take the fight to the ground, where he possesses a myriad fight-ending submission moves. This time he opted for the North/South choke when the opportunity presented itself in the second round and it capped off a fairy-tale night for the young Bahraini fighter, flying the flag for his country in this sport.
It’s amazing when i look back to the days we started MMA in Bahrain. The hardest part was to find a fight and then good things started happening; i started winning. My first fight at Brave had a different taste for many reasons and i cant wait for December to get back in the cage. Fighting in Bahrain is an absolute honor and i am more than ready to perform when the day comes.
Kooheji was one of the first professional fighters to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in a mixed martial arts event. With H.H Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa closely supporting him, Kooheji went on to become an idol to many young Bahraini’s. For alot of local youths , he is a living example, that nothing is impossible if you put in the hard work.
