Brave 21: Geraldo Coelho promises fireworks in Saudi Arabia

Geraldo Coelho made a stunning start to his Brave career as he brutally knocked out Jamie Cordova in Colombia. Now he’s set for the biggest fight of his career, when he takes on undefeated Ikram Aliskerov at next Saturday’s Brave 21, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. And he promises fireworks on his return to the Brave cage.

“Luan Santana” is determined to prove he belongs at the top of the Brave roster and says Aliskerov is the perfect opponent for him at this stage in his career. The Brazilian sensation was complimentary of his opponent’s skills but guaranteed he has what it takes to win.

“I studied him quite a bit, and I know he’s a very complete fighter, which is great for me at this stage. I want to prove I belong and people can expect fireworks in our fight. I feel comfortable in all areas and I’m ready to face everything inside the cage. I have no idea how it ends, but I know I’m going to have my hand raised”, says Coelho.

As he travels to Saudi Arabia after a trip to Colombia for his first fight, Geraldo can’t help but appreciate Brave’s strategy to put on exciting events all over the world and is adamant that he will become a household name in the Middle East after his performance at Brave 21.

“To me, Brave is the best event in the world. It’s amazing what they are doing, taking events all over the world and I can’t wait to fight in other places and become famous in the Middle East. I can’t wait to be in Saudi Arabia and fight for the fans there”.

Brave 21 will be headlined by a Featherweight bout between contenders Jeremy Kennedy and Marat Magomedov. Also set for the last Brave event of 2018 is a Welterweight match-up between Gadzhimusa Gaziev and Rami Hamed, as well as the returns of Mehdi Baghdad and Hamza Kooheji.
