Brave 2 “Dynasty”  Open Workouts got heated as the fighters came face to face, just two days from their defining battles in the cage. Fighters from the main card treated fans to some slick moves and combinations as they broke a sweat and demonstrated their awesome physiques, and techniques. Fighters then came head-to-head in a face-off filled with intensity and it almost exploded as Jarrah Al Silawi vs Erik Carlsson came together.

It was the Swedish man who remained calm and composed, but Jarrah, the Jordanian Lion, pushed him back, then roared at Carlsson in a mighty fashion, which sent shivers down the spines of those watching.

Al Silawi is fighting for the first time outside Desert Force, while Carlsson hasn’t only really fought in his Gothenburg home, so both are removed fro their comfort zone although surely more so for the Swede. He looked a little shell-shocked as Jarrah clenched his fists and made it known that he’s entered his back yard and will face dire consequences. Other fascinating face-offs, the huge Carl Booth dwarfed a much smaller Gadzhimusa Gaziev as they came face to face, with the Englishman looking very impressive. Yet as we know, once Gaziev gets inside, his opponents are in a world of trouble as we saw in Brave 1 – he’s got the fight-changing power.

In the co-main event face-off, it was Kevin Koldobsky who cut a far more impressive, bigger man than Ottman Azaitar. Yet both men exuded great confidence and even exchanged a few words to this effect, with the Argentinian gesturing with his hands, suggesting that Azaitar might be talking too much.

The fighters were also interviewed by Brave’s newest member of the commercial team, the special guest, Lebanon’s biggest star Mohammed Fakhreddine. His status as their biggest star, however, may be challenged if Jarrah Al Silawi was to pick up a big win here at Brave 2.

The weigh-ins take place today (Thursday) and there may yet be more tension bubbling over before the fights take pace. Make your way to ORANGE SUITES!
