Jomar Pa-ac looks to bounce back from defeat at Brave 22
Flyweight Jomar Pa-ac hails from Baguio City, Philippines. However, he will have “home court advantage” when he takes on India’s Satya Behuria at Brave 22: Storm of Warriors, set to take place in Manila, this Friday (15). Pa-ac, who is coming off the first defeat of his Brave career, wants to get back to winning ways in front of his home crowd.
After impressing with two wins in his first two fights for the biggest MMA promotion in the Middle East, Pa-ac hit a rough patch in his last bout, being knocked out by Hussain Maki at Brave 12, back in May of last year.
The Team Lakay representative decided to take the rest of 2018
He will take on a relative newcomer to professional MMA, but a dangerous fighter nonetheless. Behuria has only one pro bout to his name, which took place in last December’s Brave 20. Satya showed why he’s deemed as one of the best prospects in India by submitting Sarabjit Singh in the third round of their Brave 20 encounter and will look to improve to 2-0 away from home.
Brave 22: Storm of Warriors marks the first time Brave CF lands in the Philippines. The groundbreaking event will be headlined by Bantamweight champion Stephen Loman, who defends his title against Elias Boudegzdame. Ireland’s Cian Cowley is also set for a return in Manila, as he takes on John Brewin in the co-main event.
